Home Buyer Reports

Home Buyer Reports, classified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a Level 2 Report, were brought out over twenty years ago as an economy version of the building survey and are suited typically to properties constructed after 1900, in an apparent reasonable state of repair and have proved to be a popular format of report for people considering purchasing a residential property.

The Home Buyer Report summarises the various internal and external elements of the building and has the benefit of using a red, orange and green traffic light system to highlight the condition of each element.

A valuation and an insurance reinstatement cost assessment is also included within the report.

The Home Buyer Report assists you in making an informed and reasoned decision about the property you wish to purchase.

A shorter standard format of report designed as an economy building survey.   Each element of the structure is summarised with a condition rating. The rating is flagged as a ‘traffic light’ – red orange or green to give a visual and numeric guide as to the condition of each element

 

A building survey is a detailed report that can be tailored to suit the client’s needs.
